Computer Courses

Only half a century ago, a large majority of people could do their everyday activities without using any high-end machine. You could and had to do things manually, losing a great amount of time.

When computers first appeared and were presented to the wider audience, they were regarded as something advanced and unfathomable. Few people dared try to use them and anyone who did it must have been a ‘super-intelligent’ person.

Nowadays, however, computers are not an option. They are simply necessary for our daily life. Therefore, everyone uses them and it is more than obvious that we couldn’t complete even a small part of our activities without a computer.

It is true that modern computers are much more simple and user-friendly than the ones first invented. That is why many people are self-taught and can use the computer for simple tasks without anyone’s help.

Still, if you aspire to use a computer for more complex tasks than just checking your Facebook profile or playing a song on YouTube, learning how to work in some programs can be a rather lengthy and exhausting process if you decide to do it on your own.

In addition, you can easily misunderstand some of the functions and thus end up learning them in a completely wrong way due to there being no one to provide you with useful feedback.

Computer Training Courses

If you want to master some of the programs necessary for everyday business activities, you should take a good computer course. It will enable you to learn all that you need quickly, successfully and correctly.

Keystroke Learning offers popular computer courses that will improve your knowledge and skills. When you complete our top professional computer training, you will feel confident and be able to apply your skills immediately.

We also work with many other software programs

Advantages of Computer Courses

Now that we are done with an introduction to computer training, let’s move on to some more practical aspects. We often hear people asking about the advantages of computer training offered by Keystroke Learning, so we would like to give them an example:

  • Imagine that in our course you learn a single tip that saves you 5 seconds each time you use a software function. Let’s say that you use this simple function 30 times each day. That’s 2.5 minutes a day.
  • Now, at Keystroke Learning we are not mathematicians, but we do know Microsoft Excel extremely well. If we use our spreadsheet to multiply this figure by 5 working days per week and multiply that by 48 weeks, allowing for 4 weeks holiday, it turns out you can save over an entire day (10 hours to be precise) just by using this one single tip!
  • In our courses, you will learn many such tips. Therefore, you can save hours, and potentially days each year simply by increasing your productivity and efficiency.

To take advantage of PC training, you simply need to participate in a training session. We have also identified some further advantages below. This may help you to make the right decision when choosing one of our top computer courses.

When you learn on your own, there is no one to talk to and exchange ideas with. On the other hand, when you take part in our computer training courses, you can engage with other participants to approach the same issue from various points of view. Thus, our computer courses and training help you to learn faster and more effectively with the help of other participants.
The next advantage of our latest computer training courses is that they are delivered by highly skilled trainers who are experienced in teaching individuals, as well as small and large groups. They will constantly provide you with constructive feedback, so you will always be clear about what you should be doing.
After you complete any of our popular computer courses, you will have lifetime support from our team. If you come across an issue while using any of the applications you learned in our training, contact us. We will be happy to help you out and get you back up and running.
On completion of each level of our broad scope of computer courses, you will have the option to receive a training certificate as evidence of your newly acquired knowledge and skills.

Is it best to do a full day or a half day course?

Well, it all depends on your particular training requirements and the amount of time you have available. A half day course will target a smaller number of topics, while a full day course allows time to cover more. Either way, the training course will provide in-depth coverage of the features you need to learn while allowing time for questions and interaction. Your decision should be based on the specific topics you want to cover and the time you have.

Should I use the local or the online version of an application?

It all depends on where you are working and the device you are using. To some degree, it is also a matter of personal choice.

If you typically travel to your place of work and have a computer at your desk, you will most likely use the regular desktop versions of your applications. Even if you work at home using a work laptop, you may still wish to use the desktop versions. If you tend to travel and don’t always have access to your own computer, you may be better to use the online version.

Online versions have the same basic functionality as the desktop versions, however, they are generally a little more limited. As a rule, online versions are best used for reading and basic editing of documents rather than advanced functionality.
